In Europe we are the champions in price increases
In the EU Member States, the harmonized consumer price index was 2.6 percent, in the euro zone it was lower: 2.4 percent. The EU’s statistics show that in Hungary this data was 5.6 percent.
According to the report of Eurostat, on a yearly basis the harmonized consumer price index in June 2012 was 5.6 percent in Hungary, which is a 0.2 percentage point increase, compared to the previous month. The EU statistics show that only a single improvement caused the reduction of the inflation in May. (mfor.hu)
