The coffee market players prepare for price increase
The largest German coffee roaster, the Tchibo wants to raise its prices by 50 cents in the end of February. This step would increase coffee prices with nearly ten percent.
Tchibo has increased the price of coffee with 50 cents shortly after Christmas. Dallmayr has announced similar measures. Both companies explained their intention to increase prices with the drastic price increase of raw coffee. Tchibo’s price increase willenter into force on the 28th of February – reports Világgazdaság Online, after Hamburger Abendblatt.
