Lidl to increase plant-based product sales in Belgium by cutting prices
From 15 May Lidl permanently reduces the prices of its plant-based milk and meat alternatives to bring them in line with animal products. Plus the share of plant-based protein sources will increase to 20% by 2030, and the proportion of alternative dairy products will reach 10%. With these steps Lidl wants to make plant-based products more widely available.
