One cannot compete for Gold Ribbon or pay for it. It doesn’t work like that. The biggest players of the domestic gastronomy chose the products that they find suitable for a closer examination. If a domestic product is found to be “Gold Ribbon suspicious”, it will be sent to the most experienced chefs and experts of the profession to test and comment on it. As Molnár B. Tamás, president of the MGE said, the purpose of the certificate is to protect, appreciate and credibly distinguish quality, uniqueness.
