Flore Confectionery made its debut with a gold medal at the international chocolate competition
Just eight months after its launch, Hungarian Flore Confectionery has already won a gold medal at the European semi-final of the International Chocolate Awards. The brand, which produces artisanal dragees inspired by fine dining, entered three products, of which the specialty called “Sweet Sushi” won gold and a special award, while “Smoke Signals” finished with a silver medal.
The brand’s founder and creative confectioner, Flóra Emese Tóth, brought the need for complex, thoughtful flavors from Michelin-starred restaurants, which Flore offers in a playful yet gourmet style in the form of dragees. The awards are especially valuable because this is Flore’s second competition: in 2024, they already won five bronze medals and one gold medal from the Academy of Chocolate Awards.
Flore represents a new generation of artisanal chocolates, and its goal is to bring the culture of quality chocolate consumption closer to a younger audience. The brand’s products and awards also show that a well-chosen flavor combination can work wonders.
