Henkel awarded again
Henkel received another sustainability recognition: On 20 June 2013, the RobecoSAM – the sustainable investment fund specialist – handed over the “SAM Sustainability Awards” prizes for the second time. As the recognition of its sustainable development Henkel was awarded with the “Gold Class and Sector Leader” awards this year.
Henkel received the prize as the company with one of the best sustainability performance, in the “Non-durable household goods” category. The prize-giving ceremony was held in Frankfurt. Kathrin Menges, Vice-President of the Human Resources area and Chairman of the Henkel Sustainability Council was personally present to receive the award. We are satisfied that we are in such a good place in the rankings. This award strenghtens the company's position in the field of sustainable development and further encourages us to strengthen our leadership position and continue to evolve in this area – Kathrin Menges added.
