Arabnews: food crisis threatens Arab countries
Arab countries could face a severe food crisis in the wake of the war in Ukraine as Syrian mercenaries join forces fighting in Eastern Europe, a prominent Lebanese journalist Bária Alamuddin said in an interview with Saudi news portal Arabnews on Monday.

“Syrian President Bassar al-Assad owes his power to Russian troops stationed in his country; Russian President Vladimir Putin is now submitting the bill,” said Alamuddin, Syrian enlisted as a mercenary. (MTI)
