AVON products will be available in DM from April
Over the past 135 years, AVON has become one of the world’s most well-known beauty brands. Not only their innovative and high-quality products, but also the unique sales method with which they reach consumers has become their iconic trademark. The popular Consultant network remains an important pillar of the company, while adapting to changing consumer needs, the brand is also appearing in a new sales channel to reach a wider range of people interested in beauty care. AVON is therefore entering the retail market in our country, and from April, certain products of the brand will also be available in the dm national network.
AVON’s success has been based on the Consultant network for decades. AVON Consultants help their customers with their product knowledge, personalized advice and the power of their community. Personal contact plays a major role in sales, as they share their passion for the brand with every catalog they hand out and build trust. However, taking into account consumer needs, AVON is now entering the retail sales market to reach an even wider range of customers interested in beauty care, including those whom it may not have reached before and for whom the brand was therefore unknown. It wants to open up especially to young people, who are getting to know makeup products through these channels.
The new channel provides opportunities for both customers and Consultants
From the beginning of April, AVON products will also be available in domestic retail, namely in the national dm network. This will give customers a new channel to meet the brand to learn about and purchase popular cosmetics. In addition to appearing in dm, the usual and well-proven shopping methods will of course still remain. AVON’s full product portfolio and the current catalog will continue to be available exclusively through Consultants and on avon.hu. This means that personalized advice and the direct contact that Consultants provide will continue to be the basis of the company’s operations. However, the dm presence can open new doors not only for customers, but also for Consultants, as increasing market presence and awareness will presumably increase the number of interested parties, especially among the younger generations who often visit dm.
