Eurozone's retail trade rose again in April
In April, the value of retail sales increased by 0.9 percent in the 17 countries of the eurozone, exceeding the analysts' expectations of a 0.4 percent growth.
The growth on annual level is 1.1 percent. According to the datas; among the countries of the Union, sales increased in 15 countries, decreased in 5 countries and stagnated in Lithuania. The increase was the highest in Denmark, in Estonia, and in Portugal (4.3%, 3.3% and 2.9%). The biggest drop occured in Malta (-2.8%) and in Romania (-1.8%) – reports tozsdeforum.hu, after QUAESTOR.
