Slaughter pig’s price started to go down again in April
According to data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), in April 2018 agricultural production prices were 1.2 percent higher than in the same period of 2017. This rise was the result of the price of vegetable products growing by 3.1 percent and livestock/products of animal origin prices reducing by 2.4 percent from the base period level. Cereal crops cost 11 percent more, but slaughter pig’s price dropped 14 percent. Milk cost 1.1 percent more and we had to pay 10 percent more for eggs. //
