Economic sentiment in the euro area deteriorated in April
For the second month in a row, the economic sentiment index in the euro area and the European Union fell to a more than 1-year low in April in a survey by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG EcFin).

Economic sentiment in eurozone loses one-year low
According to DG EcFin’s announcement on Monday, the economic sentiment index (ESI) in the euro area fell to 105.0 points in April, the lowest since 106.7 points in March 2021, and analysts expected 108.0 points. The ESI in the European Union fell by 1.7 points to 104.9 points. (MTI)
