In April, euro area inflation rose to a five months peak
In April, euro area inflation rose to over five-month highs in line with expectations, according to a report by the European Union’s statistical office, Eurostat, published on Friday.
In April, according to Eurostat’s preliminary data, euro area inflation became 1.7 percent instead of the expected 1.6 percent. It is the highest since the 1.9 percent data of last November. The inflation became 1.4 percent in March. (MTI)
