Retail sales jumped 3.2 percent in April
In April 2017 like-for-like retail volume sales augmented by 3.2 percent; adjusted for calendar effects, the sales growth was 1.7 percent – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Food and food-type retail sales increased by 0.6 percent and non-food sales grew by 4.5 percent, while motor fuel volume sales rose 1.1 percent. In January-April 2017 like-for-like volume sales – adjusted for calendar effects – surpassed last year’s level by 2.9 percent. //
