Since mid-April, foodpanda has been operating under the name foodora
From the middle of April, the foodpanda food ordering platform will be operating under the name foodora, despite the change of brand name, the business model will remain unchanged – announced the managing director of Delivery Hero Hungary Kft. on Tuesday in Budapest, at the company’s press conference.
Zoltán Radeczky said: the application required for ordering will be updated on April 11, and an advertising campaign will be launched in May, which will serve, among other things, to introduce the new name.
The executive recalled: the Hungarian-founded NetPincér, which has been operating since 1999, became a member of the Delivery Hero group of companies in 2016, which is present in more than 70 countries worldwide. Within Delivery Hero’s European regional organization, the foodora name will be used in eight countries – the four Scandinavian countries, as well as Hungary, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia – and a uniform image update will take place here.
