Anuga – the world's largest food fair
Fourty-five Hungarian food production companies will take part on the world's largest professional food fair the Cologne-based Anuga. Six thousand exhibitors are expected for the event which will be held betwen 2009. October 10 and 14.
More than 80 percent of the exhibitors will come from outside of Germany. Due to the high foreign participation in Anuga it is one of the most important international platform of the world's food economy. On the exhibition each product can easily be presented in a transparent system, such as delicatessen and desserts, bread and baking industry, refrigerated and frozen goods, meat, beverages, dairy products, commercial technology and organic products. But it also gives place to regional specialties, vegetarian diet products as well. Kakuk Márta, the Hungarian representative of the Anuga food fair pointed out, that they are succeded in acquiring a much better place in the Fine Food section at Agrármarketing Centrum's community stand than the place of two years ago. The Hungarian exhibitors stand will be in the hall 2.1, in the neighborhood of German, Italian and Brazilian companies. Hungarian meat products will be represent by Kometa and SágaFoods represents in the hall of meat products.
