ÁNTSZ: more healthy foods in kindergarten canteens
Three-quarters of the institutions have expanded the menu with healthy food products in recent years.
More vegetables, fruits and fish, but still less than required milk and whole grain bakery can be found in kindergarten canteens – the National Public Health and Medical Service told MTI on Monday. According to the survey on public catering, carried out last year, nearly three-quarters of the kitchens have introduced new food products and raw materials, which in addition to the increasing diversity is in line with the healthy eating guidelines.
