ÁNTSZ: public catering is not healthy enough
According to a research project carried out by the National Food and Nutrition Institute (OÉTI), only half of public caterers are able to offer the right amount of fresh vegetables, fruits and food with proper salt content.
The salt- and fat-content of most dishes were incredibly high – the National Public Health and Medical Services (ÁNTSZ) informed MTI. Now that the school season has begun, institutes want to remind all public caterers that not all types of meals are healthy for preschool and primary schhol children.
