Heineken became Britain's largest pub owner
Heineken increases its British interest with the purchasing of more pubs. The Dutch beer manufacturer acquired 918 pubs from the state-owned Royal Bank of Scotland in a value of 412 million pounds.
The company last accomplished a similar takeover in the country in 2009. That time Heineken acquired 400 pubs. With this transaction, Heineken has become one of the largest pub owners in England – writes tozsdeforum.hu.
