Olivér Ámon drifted in the ALDI parking lot – it ended up in an advertisement

 ALDI’s offer is being enriched with a new product: from March 16, 2026, the WATT energy drink will be available in two flavors in all stores of the discount chain in Hungary. The fresh and fruity flavor of WATT Coconut–Cranberry is made special by the exotic character of coconut and the lively acidity of cranberries. It is primarily recommended for those looking for bolder flavors than usual. In the case of WATT Pear–Ginger, the soft fruitiness of pear and the lively, fresh character of ginger create a vibrant taste experience. Both energy drinks are made with taurine.

In connection with the product launch, ALDI is collaborating with drifter Ámon Olivér, with whom the discount chain has also launched a special promotion. As part of the introductory campaign, Olivér also filmed a video for social media platforms, which was recorded in the parking lot of the ALDI store on Bökényföldi út in the 16th district. In the closed area, Olivér drifted around the entire parking lot at a dizzying pace, then stopped his car in front of the entrance, inches away, to jump in for a can of WATT. The stunt also caught the attention of the police, but fortunately the arriving patrols had nothing to do, as the filming took place in a closed area and with a permit, so they also enjoyed the sight of the smoking tires and the precise driving.

In the ALDI prize draw launched as part of the cooperation, participants can win, among other things, 10 tickets to the APX in Visonta on May 2, 2026, a 100,000 HUF Drift Taxi with WATTesla at Olivér Ámon’s – with the professional driver at the wheel, of course, and 3 unique sweaters.
