AMC: this year’s OMÉK welcomed more than 80 thousand visitors
The 82nd National Agricultural and Food Exhibition and Fair (OMÉK) welcomed more than 80 thousand visitors – the Agricultural Marketing Center (AMC) told MTI on Monday.
At the event, which ended on Sunday, many people visited the craft yard showcasing traditional techniques, but similarly to the previous ones, the agricultural machinery and animal exhibits were also popular – they wrote. According to the organizers, the success of the event is proven by the fact that it was able to address both professional interested parties and the general public. Based on the feedback, it created an excellent opportunity to build business relationships and strengthen consumer trust – they added.
According to the statement, 900 exhibitors introduced themselves at this year’s OMÉK, in addition to family and cultural programs, several thousand professional consultations and negotiations took place over four days. The highlight of the event, the Hungarian Food Summit, provided 200 buyers from 36 countries with the opportunity for business meetings – they said.
