AMC: Hungarian food manufacturers can find new sales opportunities in Transylvania
The ten Hungarian food producers who presented themselves at a two-day meeting to the buyers and distributors of the relevant food chains in Székelyföld can get new sales opportunities in Transylvania, the Agrármarketing Centrum (AMC) told MTI on Friday.
The AMC organized a business meeting with the associations of local entrepreneurs and the Hungarian Consulate General of the county seat in Hargitay on June 8-9. between Csíkszeredá and Sepsiszentgyörgy with the aim of expanding the range of Hungarian products already present in the region with the products of export-capable Hungarian enterprises.
The choice of location was partly justified by the fact that the city of Csíki strives to play a greater role in the food industry, it plans to establish an industrial park on an area of about 92 hectares, where food industry businesses are also expected to settle – they wrote. The AMC informed the participants of the events about the export development program of the Hungarian Food Business Program, and the producers from Hungary recommended, among other things, jam, pasta, wine and fruit vinegar, syrup and soft drinks to the attention of the buyers of the Székelyföld chain stores.
