AM: German agricultural relations will be strengthened further

For Hungary, Germany is a key partner in the exchange of agricultural goods and in the European Union’s common agricultural and environmental policies, the Minister of Agriculture said in a statement from the ministry on Thursday.

Nagy István praised the German-Hungarian agricultural relations on the occasion of receiving Johannes Haindl, the German Ambassador to Budapest, on an introductory visit. The head of the ministry emphasized that in the next period he will work to make the joint cooperation even more effective, because if the demand for high-quality, sustainable food from Germany increases, it will also be a success for Hungarian farmers supplying Western markets.
