40 thousand hectares of wetlands have been renewed from more than 20 billion HUF
In the 2014-2020 EU cycle, 40,000 hectares of wetland habitats have been reconstructed in Hungary through 34 projects – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said on Friday in Ócsa.
Rácz András responsible for the wetland habitats recalled at the opening ceremony of the World Wetlands Day that an agreement was signed on February 2, 1971 in Ramsar, India, in which governments take responsibility for protecting wetlands. (MTI)
