AM: period of permanent water shortage has been announced
The Ministry of Agriculture and the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) have initiated the announcement of a permanent water shortage period at the Ministry of the Interior. The announcement on this was published in the supplement to the Magyar Közlöny on 30 June.
The Minister of Agriculture emphasized that during the period of persistent water shortages, water users do not have to pay a water supply contribution for the amount of water used for irrigation, fish farming and rice production, and farmers can also take advantage of emergency irrigation water use, the statement said.
