The Ministry of Agriculture (AM) announced an animal welfare subsidy for bees with a budget of 10 billion HUF, the Minister of Agriculture said.

AM Introduces New Construction to Support Beekeepers

According to a statement issued by the Ministry on Monday, Nagy István explained that in order to support beekeeping activities that focus on the welfare of bees, AM decided to introduce a new support scheme. The call aims to improve the ecosystem service capacity of bee colonies and to prevent bee health problems, and to this end supports the provision of hygienic and animal welfare conditions for the welfare of bees.
