It is important to increase the social recognition of those who work in agriculture – Farkas Sándor, political secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture said at the Congress of the 7th National Association of Agricultural Cooperatives and Producers in Budapest.
Farkas Sándor explained that it is in the fundamental interest of those working in agriculture to regain their social acceptance and economic weight in the sector; this requires, in addition to the policy and support policy of the Ministry of Agriculture, a change of generations in agriculture, the application of new technologies, increasing efficiency, and cooperation between the ministry, the chamber and the interest representation bodies.
