AM: Hungarian interests are asserted in the CAP negotiations
Hungarian interests will be asserted in the negotiations on the reform of the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), but the meeting of the agriculture and fisheries ministers of the member states in Luxembourg at the end of October was “only a milestone” – the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) responsible for Agricultural Economy said at a professional forum on CAP.
Juhász Anikó said at the online event held by the Hungarian Economic Society that the process of negotiating the legislation will last until 2021, that the finalization and formal submission of the Member States’ CAP strategic plans and the adoption of national legislation must take place by the end of 2021 at the latest.
