AM: the position of apple and sour cherry growers is strengthened by the compulsory purchase in the acquisition contract
The creation of predictable sales environment for apple and sour cherry farmers has a paramount importance for the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), therefore the introduction of a binding contract to strengthen the position of producers in buying these fruits is essential – the Ministry of Agriculture told MTI on Friday.
The AM said that according to the amendment on the Act on Producer and Interbranch Organizations, from Sunday, all apples and cherries delivered for processing in Hungary must be covered with a written contract. (MTI)
