Thanks to the call for tenders, smaller food-producing enterprises can receive up to HUF 200 million in support with fewer obligations and easier conditions compared to larger projects. Tenders can also be submitted for the construction and renovation of buildings, the purchase of new tools and machines, the development of new technological systems, and energy upgrades related to the processing of agricultural products – they explained.
In relation to developments, the fund’s support intensity is 50 percent, but in some cases this can increase to 70 percent
Up to 25 percent of the subsidy amount, but no more than HUF 50 million, can be applied for in advance for the projects. Within the scope of the opportunity, the production of food, wine, feed, or even developments related to honey packaging and wool processing can be supported, the AM announced. With the tender, the ministry is specifically targeting small producers, and wants to provide them with the opportunity to advance – they added. It was emphasized that the aim is to create a more competitive production and product structure for domestic enterprises aimed at producing products with higher added value, and to implement developments based on market demand.
