AM: comprehensive study on alternative protein sources
Nagy István emphasized that more and more people are turning to alternative protein sources – and not necessarily for real health reasons – by eliminating animal products from their diet. In his speech, he cited as an example insects, meat grown in a flask, and soy made from by-products as a main ingredient that the consumer would make part of his daily diet while still knowing little about his risk. We must pay attention to the changes in the world, we must be open to novelties, but in the meantime we must not ignore the already proven experience and knowledge, which calls for a balanced diet, – the Minister emphasized.
