Farkas Sándor, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, spoke at the briefing that in recent years 900,000 to 1.1 million Hungarian sheep and 600-650,000 lambs were bred annually. The aim of the agricultural management with its support policy is also to increase the desire to keep sheep and goats in areas that are less accessible, he said. (MTI)
