AM Minister of State: The goal is to intensify lawn management
One of the goals of the Hungarian agriculture is to increase the intensity of lawn management with the help of nutrient supply and irrigation Farkas Sándor, Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) said at a conference in Tiszadob, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county on Wednesday.
At the event held in Andrássy Castle, Farkas Sándor spoke about that the vast majority of the currently available, approximately 1 million hectares of grassland has outstanding conservation importance, about 784,000 hectares of it is pasture and 249,000 hectares of it is meadow. Of this, about 799 thousand hectares are utilized. (MTI)
