Not only has survived, but despite the difficult year this year, the agricultural and food economies have strengthened and even steps have been taken through investments and regulatory systems that will lay the foundations and promote the stability and development of agriculture in the coming years, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture told at the online Portfolio Agricultural Sector 2020 Conference.

Feldman Zsolt emphasized that this year was hampered not only by the coronavirus pandemic, but also by the challenges of drought, frost, swine fever and bird flu.

Thinking about the post-pandemic period, a number of new investment tenders have been announced this year, which will contribute to the construction of a competitive Hungarian agrarian sector – he added. (MTI)
