AM: in the market, a real relationship develops between trader and customer
It is important to help preserve domestic jobs, self-sufficiency and overcome economic difficulties as soon as possible by purchasing domestic products – stated Márton Nobilis, the Secretary of State responsible for food industry and trade policy of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) at the handover ceremony of the market in Bercel, according to the Ministry’s Information.
The state secretary explained: when they launched the support for the development of small agricultural plants, including the tender “Infrastructural and asset development of markets for local product sales” on October 2, 2020, they were looking for partners who want to give local producers the opportunity to sell their products locally. Those who understand that by supporting the use of local raw materials they also contribute to the development of the local economy, and for whom it is important that domestic, high-quality, healthy and fresh food is on the table of as many Hungarian families as possible – he added.
