Pálinka represents world-class quality in both its appearance and internal values, making it a worthy competitor to the noblest spirits over the decades, said the Secretary of State for Food Chain of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) during a visit to the Gong Pálinka House.

The aftermath of the pandemic did not spare the distilleries either

Erdős Norbert reminded that the coronavirus epidemic did not spare the food industry players, including the domestic commercial distilleries.

Over the last 15 years, the technological background, awareness, consumer image and prestige of the production of pálinka and pomace brandy have grown steadily – he added, including the expansion of pálinka cooking capacities, the knowledge of industry experts and the place of pálinka in higher gastronomy.
