AM: the government is striving to stimulate the market for quality beers
In addition to maintaining the dynamic development of the beer sector, the government is striving to stimulate the market of quality beers and widen the segment of craft beers – Zsigó Róbert, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) responsible for Food Chain Supervision said on Wednesday, at a press conference in Budapest, heralding the 13th International Beer Competition and Beer Muster.
He added that the Association of Small Breweries (KSE), which currently consists of 54 brewers, organizes numerous festivals to promote beer and cultured alcohol consumption The most important festival is the International Beer Competition and Beer Muster, the implementation of which is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture. Gyenge Zsolt, president of the KSE, explained that 85 brewers from 9 countries had sent their beer to the association’s beer competition so far. (MTI)
