The government will support local food production and local food sales by all possible means, said Minister of Agriculture Nagy István at the handover of the Bicske city market, according to a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture (AM).

Government backs local markets

The Minister drew attention to the fact that markets are in all cases the centers of an urban, rural community. Therefore, every market is also a community space that contributes to strengthening the urban or rural community. (MTI)
