AM: the year of biodiversity was proclaimed for 2020 in the Most Beautiful Vegetable Gardens program

The national program of the most beautiful vegetable gardens in Hungary promotes home gardening. Its aim is to get the work of gardeners duly recognized – the Minister of State, reponsible for agricultural markets said at the annual closing ceremony of the national program.

According to a statement sent to MTI on Thursday, Tarpataki Tamás considered the important mission of the program to be appealing to all generations, paying special attention to children. As he said, thanks to the intergenerational transfer of knowledge, so far, a total of nearly forty thousand young people under the age of 20 have shown the kitchen garden he has cultivated. (MTI)
