Animal keepers and their software developers, attention! An interface is being prepared for the electronic submission of antibiotic use data
Nébih will soon enable the electronic submission of antibiotic usage data via an interface. Thanks to the development, users can submit data directly from the livestock farm software. Plant management software developers can make the necessary improvements in their own systems based on the documentation available on the Nébih API service page.

Up until now, those concerned could only upload the amount of antibiotic-containing preparations used to treat food-producing animals directly into Nébih’s specialist system. However, with the current development, the office also makes data provision via the interface available, which means a further significant reduction of the administrative burden.
The developer document just published contains a description of the operations for reading the antibiotic usage data and the drug master book in the Nébih database.
The prerequisite for connecting to the API is to submit the “connection request” form, which is available – along with the detailed documentation of the interface – on the Nébih API service page. Nébih first gives access to the test system during the development that provides the possibility of direct data submission. Users will receive the API token required for testing, as well as the token belonging to test users, after submitting the completed “connection request” form. Access to the live system can be granted after a successful test period. According to the plans, testing and connection will be possible from June 15, 2023. However, the developer’s guide is already available on the API service subpage of the office.
