At the beginning of July, MÁSZ concluded a strategic agreement of outstanding professional significance between the University of Kaposvár and Nébih – agrarszektor.hu wrote. The aim of the cooperation is to establish an animal genetics laboratory suitable for genome testing, which can effectively help Hungarian animal breeders by applying the most modern methods.

The Association of Hungarian Livestock Breeders (MÁSZ) represents the breeding side as an umbrella organization of Hungarian breeding organizations, the University of Kaposvár represents the field of education and research as the dominant Hungarian agricultural higher education institution in animal husbandry, and Nébih represents the official side of the animal husbandry administration. Hungarian animal husbandry has a serious tradition and accumulated knowledge, which, through the most modern technologies and methods, can not only ensure our food self-sufficiency, but also enable the export of significant breeding of animals and animal products.
