Health contribution on tobacco becomes permanent, the bank tax to be reduced
The health contributions of the tobacco companies will remain for the next year. Its value is a total of 11.5 billion HUF – Lázár János, Minister, the leaderof the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Thursday at a press conference.
The government decided that the tobacco companies have to pay 11.5 billion HUF into the budget. This health care contribution has to be paid each year.
The government also decided to begin to reduce the tax on banks from 2016 in accordance with the original agreement with the EBRD.
The Minister also confirmed that the level of advertising tay will be maximizedin 5.3 percent, over 100 million HUF sales revenue. Under 100 million HUF the tax rate will be zero. (MTI, portfolio.hu)
