Meat prices may increase without govermnental help
The govermnental help would cost at least 20-30 billion HUF to the government, which the representatives of the pig and poultry sector are asking for.
The sector was also affected by the introduction of the flat tax, and the already low salaries were decreased further at tens of thousands more people. Today, poultry breeding only gives work to 60 thousand people. According to Bárány László; President of the Poultry Product Council; if the government does not help, many livelihoods will be in risk, especially in the rural areas of the country at the already disadvantaged regions – reports hirszerzo.hu.
