Aldi Introduces ‘Grüner Knopf’ Seal For Textile Supply Chain
Discounter Aldi has announced that it has introduced the ‘Grüner Knopf’ (Green Button) seal to label sustainable textile.
Presently, the retailer is offering baby tights and baby socks made of fabric that has acquired the Grüner Knopf certification.
The seal will be gradually added to other products as they meet all the 26 social and ecological standards outlined by an independent advisory board.
