Aldi And Plastic Bank Gather 40 Tonnes Of Plastic In Four Months
Aldi’s plastic waste collection initiative, in association with Plastic Bank, in the Philippines has gathered more than 40 tonnes of plastic in the first four months.
In March of this year, the Aldi announced a partnership with the social enterprise to set up collection points for plastic waste.
Aldi Süd has also introduced cleaning agents under its Pro Nature series, which will also be available in Aldi Nord stores in September during the ‘Fair Week’.
The range includes Henkel’s brands Biff, Pril, and Sidolin in packaging made of 100% recycled plastic, which incorporates 25% Social Plastic from Plastic Bank.
