The EU-Japan Free Trade Agreement has been signed
The comprehensive free trade agreement between the European Union and Japan has been signed by the leaders of the EU and Japan in Tokyo on Tuesday. The parties hope that it will counterbalance the protectionist powers liberated by the US President’s trade policy.
At the 25th EU-Japan Summit, Jean-Claude Juncker, Head of the Brussels Commission and Donald Tusk, President of the European Council and Abe Sindzo Prime Minister of Japan, signed the agreement. (MTI)
