Industrial apple processing started in Szabolcs

Industrial apple processing started with a low purchase price in the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county juice factories, but for eating apples even 40 percent more is paid by purchasers, compared to last year – the Chairman of the Apple Product Board told MTI on Tuesday.

Takács Ferenc, Chairman of the North-East Hungarian Apple and other Fruit Interprofessional Organization and Marketing Board told that 17-18 HUF per kg plus VAT is paid for the fruit growers for apples. (MTI)
