Having a mobile phone will access internet – maybe
More than half (55 percent) of the people use their mobile or smart phone devices at least once a week for online activities – shows the survey of Ipsos.
If you have a mobile or smart phone, there’s a 55 percent chance you use it at least once a week, to check on a movie time, find a restaurant, assess traffic, see if your team is winning or any of the many other things people go online to accomplish. If you live in the Middle-East or Afrika, that figure spikes to 70 percent. In Hungary, this ratio is 43 percent. As would be expected, in terms of the way new technology is adopted, the under 35s are far more inclined; 69 percent of them are using their mobile or smart phones to go online at least once a week, than their 50-to 64 year old counterparts, of whom only 33 percent claim to get online via their phones at least once a week.
