Year 2020 has brought new kinds of challenges worldwide, previously seen only in sci-fi movies. Many companies were put at risk, millions of workers were unable to get to work, raw materials procured from abroad did not arrive, or only with a delay of several months.

Meanwhile, the sales volume of flour in Hungary increased by 168 percent in March, in April 200 online webshops opened daily. However, not all upswings are so evident – PwC Hungary’s consultants conducted an analysis of which industries, products and services emerged from the pandemiological situation over several months. Also examining what are the habits that are expected to fit into the post-pandemic value system in the long run.
