Action plan to popularise organic farming
The Minister of Rural Development approved the action plan to develop organic farming in Hungary on government level. By 2020 the new plan wishes to increase the size of land used for organic farming to 300,000 hectares from the current 130,000 hectares. Another objective is to raise the share of organic ingredients used in public catering to 30 percent.
