Specials, discounts and coupons: learn to save during the crisis
Because of the impact of recession, a serious change has occured in purchasing habits. Interest is growing towards discount stores, and towards the retailers' own-branded products.
According to the recent survey uSwitch.com, consumer protection websit; in Britain the sales of own branded products tripled in one year. While a year earlier the 25 percent of the customers chosed own-branded products, this ratio is now 73 percent.
The survey shows that an increasing proportion of households use a variety of techniques for saving. The rate of the costumers who use coupons, gift-bonuses have tripled – reports Pénzcentrum.hu.
